Who we are
In Person is owned and operated by Kinetic Social LLC, a Texas limited liability company.
What we collect
We collect the email address you submit to the waitlist and standard technical logs used to keep the site reliable and secure. For invited feedback surveys, we store your answers without asking for your name or email. A random browser identifier is stored in a secure cookie and saved only as a one-way hash so the same browser can recognize a completed survey and avoid duplicate submissions. To prevent waitlist abuse, we temporarily use a one-way identifier derived from your network address for rate limiting; we do not store the raw address in the waitlist database.
How we use it
Only to manage the waitlist and send launch or early-access updates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Where it is stored
The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Waitlist records are stored in our private Supabase database and are accessible only to us and service providers operating the site.
Google app sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Supabase process your sign-in and provide the In Person app with your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information. This connects you to your app account and onboarding. Signing in does not add you to the marketing waitlist. The website’s return screen does not save your sign-in tokens in browser storage.
Remembering your signup
After a confirmed signup, we save a timestamp in your browser so we can welcome you back for up to 180 days. It contains no email address and is not used for advertising. You can clear it using “Use another email” or by clearing this site’s browser data. This does not remove your email from the waitlist. Private browsing or a different browser may not remember you.
Retention and choices
We keep your email until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or the waitlist is no longer needed—whichever comes first.
